Refund Policy
Effective date: May 23, 2025
This Refund Policy applies to all subscriptions to Thoughtline, operated by Business Insiders Media LLC.
Our policy
All Thoughtline subscription payments are non-refundable.
We offer a 7-day free trial so you can experience the full Service before your first charge. No payment is required to start your trial, and you will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.
After your trial period, subscription fees are charged monthly and are not refundable — including for:
- Partial months of unused service
- Periods after cancellation where access continues until the billing cycle ends
- Forgetting to cancel before a renewal date
- Not using the Service during a paid period
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to Thoughtline until that date.
To cancel, go to your account and select Manage Subscription, or contact us at hello@thoughtline.co.
Exceptions
We may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund or credit in exceptional circumstances — for example, if a technical failure on our part prevented you from accessing the Service for an extended period. To request a review, contact hello@thoughtline.co with details of the issue.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy removes any rights you may have under applicable law.
Australian users: Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You may be entitled to a refund or other remedy for a major failure of the Service.
UK/EU users: You may have rights under applicable consumer protection laws, including cooling-off periods for certain digital services. Please contact us if you believe these apply to your situation.
